I have some time to work on these if we're going with the Villains theme. Instead of linking a bunch of images in this thread, I was thinking of posting it on an external webpage. That way I can keep updating it. Would that be easier for everyone?

I agree as well, and I like the Villain theme and the ones for Brown, Richards, Doughty and Quick to name a few write themselves but what is the plan for the other less villainous Kings like Pearson (dibs), Toffoli and Martinez would those be a generic playoff avatar or would we need to find their pros and cons and put that in a avatar.

You could always play into the main board's negativity. For Pearson:
"Young Talent"
HF: "He'll get corrupted on that dirty team"
"Corrupted"

Just a random idea.

Made a few tweaks to lower the file size. Does the second one still make sense? I put "Stanley Cup Playoffs Villains" instead of "HFBoards Villains". Does that kill the idea? Otherwise I have to add a frame at the end just for a playoffs logo and the file size bumps up.

The villains idea is cool and love the template kk but I would just simplify it way down. The villains picture with logo followed by a pic of a player doing something dirty then a pic of them in the dirty style you have. So for brown it would villain pic, picture of roszival knee hit, then the tongue out. Have stolls boarding, Nolan sucker punch, Richards hit from Philly, carter with Keith, kopitar a breakaway from finals obv etc etc.

Could keep the clean slide if wanted and have pics from before they were a king.

[IMO]It doesn't completely kill the idea, but it's better with the extra frame. The quality is not the problem, but the fact that it's 5 frames like you said, is. If I had to decide, I'd go with 5 frames. But the other idea with SC playoffs and villains combined is not bad by any means. [/IMO]

Another idea. Take a pic of a player before he was with the kings. Then a pic of the kings shirt with "just add" above it, then a pic of them doing something dirty. Don't need the words dirty or clean written on them then the villains slide

Something to that effect I'll work on it more later. I'm not that clever.

I do think it would be great if we just fully adopted all our media's messed-up alter egos like Anje Kopidor, Brad Doty, Matt Toffoli, and the latest where they labeled Regehr's picture with justin williams (just swap their pics )

may as well also use the Sacramento Kings logo but that's maybe just me going overboard, haha.

what if we play on "classy" in a more tongue-in-cheek kind of way? something like:

1. los angeles/los angeles kings frame, in fancy script font (replace the "discover" with "classy"):

2. the king of your choice photoshopped into something like these (there are tons out there):

3. shot of the king of your choice laying a check, something "classless" (maybe even the staples center clock for you, Brad).

4. stanley cup playoffs 2014 logo.

just an idea. i realize the source images are hard to start off with for a shop, but that panel doesn't have to be fantastic.

edit: sorry those are so huge. not entirely sure how to get around that.

Seems like it's getting complicated. What about this approach? No "Before/After Words", no "New Topic" frame. Just using a quote from dark knight. Might be a way to simplify it even more.
