Definitely will need help. Working on a template. Still need to figure out how and where to put the playoffs logo or something to indicate playoffs if we go with these. Anyone with any ideas to improve any part of it please let me know. I'm open to any suggestions.

I think the custom words are better than "hero" and "zero" but obviously if it works, then by all means. I like the Canada hero / Kings zero jersey idea haha.

I guess right now the "Hero" slide doesn't make sense with the end slide. I could try adding a question mark to the first slide, like:
1: "HERO?"
2: "ZERO"
3: HFBoards Certified Villains

Amazing work! This is just brilliant, easily gets my vote for the template for this year.

I really like the idea of the "hfboards start new post" idea. Could lead to all sorts of great ones if we went that route. Might be tough to come up ideas for some players if we go the Hero/Zero route but I'd be good with either.

Nothing new, but I will finally have some time to work on a template this weekend (crazy work OT will end today). Still need to get a playoffs logo in there without making the file too big. If we're still going with these, we'll need people to pick

1) player (and photos)
2) before/after words
3) "new thread" subject and text

I know we have a theme going right now, but from the GDT, people were talking about player-tricks (eg. Gordie Howe Hattrick, Ovechtrick, etc), but for the Kings players. Might make for good playoff avatars. Here are some quotes from the GDT:

Voynov with the Voynovtrick, a goal, an assist and a broken stick

I would think that a Voynovtrick would be a goal, an assist, and an own goal

Then a Stolltrick must be a goal, a broken glass from a shot high and wide and no minor penalty?

Naah, the third would be being called for the new faceoff interference penalty -- the one that was put in BECAUSE of him.

I think we need a compilation of "Player" tricks for this team.

Quick - 1 sensational save, 1 puck handling gaffe resulting in a goal, 1 "situation" almost resulting in Quick fighting

offensive-zone penalty! honorable mention to the Stoll-rule faceoff penalty.

A Voynov hat trick is obviously a couple broken sticks, telling Lupul to shut the **** up, and calling Quick out on his goaltending techniques

I want to rock a Martinez avatar this year no matter what the theme is. If we're sticking with the Heros/Villains theme, the main board create new thread should read, "Who's Martinez?" And then have that pic with him wearing the sombrero from last season. I'll dig up the pic tomorrow.
