Rumor: Planning Ahead: 2019 Off-Season

Doughty continues to embarrass himself with the Tkachuk thing.

In regards to the rivalry, it has been so one-sided in Tkachuk's favor that Doughty just looks like a bitch with that quote.

Flame away, but Doughty should fight him tonight. You can all disagree, but that would go a long way in the room for the young guys that are looking to a 30 year old, $12MM player with a letter on his sweater for leadership moving forward. Hell, he can just wrestle him the whole time...just do something.

I don't like any of the Tkachuk's, but I respect their game. Matt punked DD pretty bad in like their first matchup and Drew has done zero on the ice to make him regret it.

I'd like Doughty to stop talking about pretty much anything other than how he is going to start scoring more goals. I'd like to hear how he's going to score 16 goals again, like he did his second year in the league when the Kings also sucked.

If Doughty doesn't want to fight him, then he should keep his mouth shut.

But right now he's showing his bark is worse than his bite.

Ahh the old “hockey people agree with me” defense by DD. Must have learned that from DL. Such a bs statement when no one else backs you up. And the comments on Norris contenders is ridiculous, especially coming from a guy who’s having by far his worst season in the NHL.

Drew is such a clown, really really really wish Blake had moved on. Great player but with where the Kings are and his age they should have traded him.

God damnit Drew just shut the f*** up. In zero position to talk shit at this point. If he worked as hard as his mouth did this year maybe we wouldn't be in this mess.

I hope Tkachuk forms a "-30" in snow on the ice and then beats the piss out of him.

Not singling you out, but boy oh boy are we a far ways away from when myself and others were critical of Doughty not sticking up to Tkachuk and were told that he shouldn't have to do anything like that.

I stick by my previous claims that nobody on here would like Doughty if he was on another team and all of us would rake him over the coal for running his mouth nonstop while never backing it up physically.

It's been a long time since Brown was stripped of the C, but it has actually been pretty jarring lately to watch him produce at a decent clip without even an A on his sweater while we've got Perimetar wearing a C, Poughty with an A and the ghost of Jeff Carter with the other one. Like, they decided Carter would be a more important part of the leadership group moving forward than Brown.

Life comes pretty fast at all of us, man.

You can single me out if you want. I definitely said that. It's dumb as shit that he should have to fight someone because he got elbowed.

Now we're what, 2.5 years past that? And this is his answer to that question after giving zero f***s all year?

There's nuance here. Mouthing off when being questioned for the first time after the incident, fine. Sounding off like this for pretty much no reason? Nope. Dumb.

If you're making a big-picture point about his attitude, I disagree flatly, I love it when he's backing it up with his play. But he has zero latitude for yapping this year.
