The Pens have a performance like this every few games where us Pens fans just chuckle and think man this has *got* to be it for Sullivan.

It never is. At this point I feel like the man could sleep with FSG's wives and post about it on social media and they still wouldn't fire him.

As a non-Pens fan, why does Sullivan have so much good grace there. I don't even think he's a bad coach and he has 2 Cups but 4 straight first round losses and then missing all together the past 2 years, why is the leash so long, he ran his course 3 years ago. He's not even a Dubas guy lol
Two cups plus FSG apparently really likes him. Dubas also likes him.

Why? I don't know. Sullivan has done nothing but lose for FSG/Dubas.

But Hextall also was publicly supportive of him. JR loved him too. At least with JR I get it because him and JR won two cups together. But the loyalty he gets from FSG and Dubas is maddening considering the results he's given them.

Pittsburghish
Crosby is such an insufferable idiot for resigning with the Penguins when the writing was on the wall. Could have gone to the Avs and played 5+ more years of worthwhile games.

This could get the man canned tbh. This is unacceptable results. Crosby must be crying at night a little bit at representing this mess
Part of the reason Sullivan is still here is (allegedly) because Sid still wants him here

I can’t believe he still believes that but…

I mean, some people are just loyal by their nature. I wouldn't blame Sid for wanting to stay in Pittsburgh. It's the team management that sucks horse's ass these days.

Coaching obviously being a part of that problem.
