Anyone worth noticing esp. Dman? I honestly can't remember the last college UFA D becomes an impact NHLer. Maybe Schmidt?College FAs start signing in the next couple weeks right?

I meant undrafted ones.Butcher? He's not 20+ min defenseman yet, but outproduced every other Devil on the blueline.
Maybe add a D this way? With Pens D playing up and down all year and sixth spot out for grabs, maybe college UFA prospect will be interested to join championship caliber team for at least two, three years to come?
I like this guy. Some size, some skill, some decent skating from what I've seen. Good find! They can sign after their last game - which is now for some, later for those in the play-offs.
Googling find these articles on who is out there. Brickley's name is the one getting repeated the most

Don't tell that to JR, or he'll be gone by July.Think the kid you can only put in that category atm is Bellerive who's still only 18.
I'm curious to see how Militec does when he goes pro tho.

I really liked the Bengtsson signing too. Unfortunately he's got Bennettitis. We were right up there in the end with the Devils. Can't blame the staff here
In the last few years, we were always involved in the discussions with the UFA. Butcher and Vessey we just missed out. ZAR we landed

Simon probably should have been higher, Bellerive should have been on the list, and Hall should be bumped into the 100+ range.
Depending on if Simon and Jarry counts as graduated then I'd guess next year's top 3 is.
1.Sprong
2. ZAR
3. Bellerive
Most of our prospects had average/bad years.
ZAR might also be graduated, no?

I think the criteria is "is he still eligible for the Calder?". At least I think that's the criteria we used last summer.
In which case, unless ZAR plays 25+ games this year, he'll be eligible next year. Simon has surpassed that total, but I'm not sure Jarry has yet.
Iirc, Bellerive wasn't ours when voting?
Also, Jarry is on 23, so probably graduating. Would DeSmith crack it?
He’s too old if we’re going by Calder rules.
