Hope to see the Canes awake from their slumber and emotional win hangover as Staal put it.

Viewing chances are iffy as we are under an icy winter storm watch with freezing rain and wind gusts. Spectrum and Duke Energy are sending out alerts. After Helene, the wind gives me anxiety so I'd rather watch some ho hum hockey as a distraction.

I halfway think there was sandbagging going on yesterday knowing that they had a game in less than 24 hours that matters more. It was a completely different feel than how engaged they were against the panthers. We’ll see I guess
I kind of wish they had completely punted and started Tokarski yesterday, although I think the schedule works better with Tokarski today and Kochetkov against Tampa and Toronto, then back to Tokarski vs Vancouver.

Every time I'd like to think this same thing here recently, they usually just disappoint. I do get tired of hearing the b2b excuse, because we so often seem to get outplayed or at least evenly matched by other teams who themselves are on a b2b...it definitely comes across as more an "excuse" than the actual "reason"

And we're off! (north of Roxboro)
