Pittsburgh makes yet another terrible move to try to answer Tom Wilson?
Some major hyperbole in this thread.
Gudbranson is not a good defenseman, but that doesn't mean he's among the worst in the league. He's a big, slow, physical defensive defenseman.
Can some Penguins fans chime in on what to expect from Pearson?
Awful deal. Wyd Jim?
Turned Hagelin into Gudbranson with term. Yuck
Could you guys take Pouliot back too?

He literally is. Several metrics and evaluation methods have Gudbranson Dead Last. No exaggeration, the very last place. Some major hyperbole in this thread.

Gudbranson has gone from "top-4-consideration defensive physical defenseman" to "enforcer who can play a regular shift but don't expect too much"

No he is not. He is so bad. He can't play d at all. He is a -27 next closest on the team is -16. It feels like he is on the ice for every other goal against.Gudbranson is better than he's shown in Vancouver. I think this is a reasonable safe move for Pittsburgh.
How long before JR challenges Tom Wilson vicariously through Gudbranson?
