Yeah, I don't think any Canucks fan is expecting Pearson to be a permanent fixture on the top line. When your other options are players like Goldobin, Eriksson, Spooner, and Leivo, you absolutely give him a shot in that spot to see what he can do.

Since day one I've been saying to my buddy all he does is get the puck and flip it out of his own zone. usually resulting in an icing.. There is next to no first pass with this guy.

The worst bad players are those that don't realize they are bad and former third overall Erik Gudbranson is one of those cases. There is no reason he couldn't at least be like i don't know a Roman Polak type of player who knows his limits and doesn't go out of his lane to do stuff. Amazed Benning managed to the terrible contract he signed Gudbranson to on someone.

I do not understand why the Pens traded for him ? Could've just kept Oleksiak who sucks less and his half the price on his contract.

JR has lost it, they win cups on speed and skill and proceed to sign slow and dumb players. Pens were easily the fastest team in 2015-2016 now i gotta say they're probably bottom 5 in terms of speed.
