Nashville is the worst run organization in the league.

Holy shit what are you doing and why do you keep doing it
They might be taking a shot but the incompetence of the King's front office is going to be difficult to overcome.

King's should have been on this so they have a fill in for when they deal Moore.

This is a good deal, a far out 4th rounder is pretty valueless

I wanted to do a Liljegren for tomasino swap before the season started, but preds I think are good on RHD’s

He seemed like an ideal 3rd line Center for us

Should be, but that's giving Sullivan far too much credit when he's done the same thing with damn near every in-season acquisition for years on end.

Every tiny mistake will result in a scratch, while the same players will actively stink with nary a drop in ice time or adjustment made. Sullivan hasn't utilized younger players well since the younger guys were the same guys he coached in WBS.

Maybe this will be the one Sullivan gives more than 3 shifts of opportunity to, but more than likely he'll just be a new scapegoat for a coach with no answers.

Solid value for the pens.

The probability you find someone like Tomasino in the 4th is pretty rare. And by someone like him I mean someone who has played some games in the NHL.

He's not good, but maybe a chance of scenery will help for a bit until he reverts back like Tolvanen.

Perds continuing their practice of gifting potentially useful players to the rest of the league

I wasn't ready after the offseason, but now I am, Trotz is a f***ing moron of a GM. Bleak years ahead for us Perds fan. But hey, we get to watch geriatric Steve-O putt around the ice for 17 minutes a game and collect a fat paycheck for 3 1/2 more seasons.

Honestly tomasino was in the doghouse for brunette, but he has some skill. Good skater and can score. I think if he decides to give his all he might be better than quite a few other projects they have.

He's not "good," but he can probably be a. 50 PPG player, if not more, when not jerked around.

Ill reserve judgement on Trotz moves. I admire that he makes quick decisions. One thing I've learned as a hockey fan over the years is that when young, highly-touted players are given away or given up on early by their respective teams, there's usually a good reason. The GMs know something we don't get to see as fans.

English can be a tricky language. “Invaluable” does not mean what you think (for good reason) it means. “Valueless” might work instead.

This is such a Dubas move soft, weak player that easily gets knocked off the puck.

Tomasino can skate and has skills but doesn’t have the scoring finish.

wow, I can't believe Pen fans are complaining about this deal. Give him to us (isles)....gladly give you a 4th.
I think a lot of us are just too cynical at this point and want to acquire draft picks for a rebuild. Hard to imagine any player acquired in a trade will make any meaningful impact for the Pens at this point.

One player sure, but Tolvanen, Fabbro and Tomasino?

I hear what you are saying but he's young didn't get a chance in Nashville and for a 4th. How many 4th rounders in the draft pan out. Here is a former 1st rounder. I think it's worth the gamble.

But if you want picks, Your GM needs to take the heat and move your top old core including Crosby if you truly want the best change of a rebuild. You can obviously get a good return for him

There's nothing deeper to it, Poile's prospects have been systematically doghoused and are being moved out. Evangelista, Parssinen, Svechkov, and Kemell will come next. It's the classic new GM wiping out all the old guy's stuff.

Logically, I know you're right.

Emotionally, I'm just over this coaching and management lol.
