Love it. Novak has pretty good 5v5 metrics in his career, on a low scoring team to boot.

Bunting is a nothing loss. He would have probably gotten a 3rd. So I look at this trade as a 3rd and a 4th for Novak.

#3 Center who can play wing, but he is a little light and a little slow to be a NHL winger. He goes around people instead of trying to run them over. He is a good passer with a few snipes per season.

Novak is younger than Bunting. Schenn is like 80% getting traded or kept in case they trade another older defenseman like Karlsson or Letang.
