The issue is they're not really worth that when you consider they wouldn't do that kind of production with 90% of the league.

Again, it's a great contract. He could've gotten more. But anybody that thinks he's worth $8M x 6 is out to lunch.

No one here is saying we would have signed him for $8M. @Gurglesons was only making inferences for why a computer generated AAV would have been that high, and the points he made were valid.

This is the failure of solely looking at analytics or looking at a computer algorithm to spit out a contract dollar figure.
