With Bart cooling off and a big night for Davis, they are pretty close in terms of performance. It isn't the worst situation and go with whoever has the hotter hand.

A couple of :

Davis, endy, gonzalez, horowitz and canario being good hitters would change the long term outlook for this team tremendously. They have the starters, a competent bullpen just f’ing hit

Not sure why you can't teach a catcher to play 1b as well.

Bart and Davis are batting decent for catchers, but not necessarily other positions. Both are still a bit below league average, but the difference between them isn't too large so Bart shouldn't be monopolizing the time as he was last year or earlier this year.

If Canario can't catch up with three straight 94 mph fastballs over the fat part of the plate, then I don't have much hope for him.
