I saw the video of the incident and all I can think of is the guy was drunk. Zero other explanation for how that was possible.

He like jumped up due to excitement but held onto the wall and somehow flipped himself over the Clemente wall. It almost looks intentional.

Yeah, the footage was very grainy and from a long way’s off, and even with those caveats it looked awful. Can only hope he can recover from the injuries he undoubtedly suffered.

Yeah, looks really bad, and you could tell from the players' reaction that it was a really scary moment. Hoping for the best, heard a rumor from a friend of a friend who works at the hospital that he's currently intubated, which I suppose under the circumstances is the best possible news to hear. I also saw some people say the ambulance left the stadium with sirens, which again is as good a sign as any absent other details (since no sirens would mean he was pronounced dead I think).

Hoping for the best.

Hunter Barco is a guy to also keep an eye on from the prospect pool. Just making a mockery of AA ball so far. Liked him a lot coming out of UF. We could use a quality lefty in the rotation and this kid has mid rotation upside certainly.

I was sitting 5 rows behind him.

He was drunk

Inning before he ripped his shirt off and poured half a beer all over himself.

He jumped up from his seat when the pirates got the hit, he jumped up so quick, while being drunk, he literally propelled himself off the ledge.

He didn't do it on purpose and no one pushed him. He was there with his girlfriend, a friend and another lady. The friend ran to the lower deck in centerfield and jumped on the field.

I'm so glad I've gotten sober reading this kind of stuff.

Skenes could have been the right pick for allot of teams.... for this team, nope. Unless they made a great asset management trade with him... maybe.
