Post-Game Talk: Pickard orders McDavid to go warp speed

Listening to Friedman this morning and it literally sounds like he’s cheering for Vegas
listen to his comments from the LA series " LA has more Power Plays becasue they are outplaying Edmonton" Edmonton then goes on to dummy LA for 3 straight games and sitll get less PP's than LA.

Elliot doesn't like the Oilers, I dont blame him for it, media has to be neutral, but Elliot is literally the face of Rogers coverage, so his biases are hard to hide with all the dog whistling and little comments he makes. They were quick to remove Luke Gazdic though from Oilers content after his comments on Vancouver fans ( which was hilarious and clearly hit a nerve of truth) In elliots case he's just jealous that EDM has had more success lately than the TML

I'd love to see Jeff Skinner get another shot. You have to feel for the guy...plays that many games before finally seeing some playoff action and he's a one and done?

You know, this is probably the friendliest I've seen this board now that most of the posters on here sound like you and I and @Drivesaitl from six months ago...
Well the good news is, if we win the Cup, Jeff Skinner got his first cup in his first playoffs and he would get his name on the cup. So that's a win in itself lol. From what I heard from other players, Jeff Skinner is a team player, and he's willing to do whatever it takes to help the team. So I'm pretty sure he doesn't mind not playing. He'll get his shot I am sure. We still got minimum 10 more games to go, and I am sure someone will need time to rest one game, or potentially injured. Having this kind of depth is amazing for us as well.

I'm pretty sure they all just want the team to win. J-skins wants to be out there, Max Jones wants to be out, so does Derek Ryan, but they're winning with this group, so they aren't likely to change much.

As you said it's still a long road ahead and alot can happen, but this is the situation now, and they are accept it and cheer for the group, or it's going to be a rough time.

Love this post and your positivity. I don't want us to mess too much with our winning formula, or lose anyone to injury, but the odds say you're probably right!

The funny part is it will be messed with next series because Ekholm could be ready, and that's where we swap him with Emberson. Then we got even more depth. I don't think I've ever seen this team fire at all cylinders in a long time. Not since 2006 even. Every year, it was either McDavid or Draisaitl. So it's great to see the whole team sharing the load, and everyone has their role.

Honestly I’d make one adjustment after last night.

Scratch Emberson. Dress Stetcher.

The VGK forecheck is too much for Emberson so he constantly panics with the puck.
Why change a winning lineup.
Emberson hasn't been a minus player in any of the games these playoffs and I am not sure that Stecher will be a better option on PK.
Keep him playing while we are winning

Why, looked to me like the slightest of touches. And he would know. Then he lies on the ice like he’s been shot.

If that is a penalty they need to start calling 10 penalty’s a game on the contact mcdavid takes.
Sticks between legs is dangerous, especially along the boards and when a D is trying to turn. They have no way of knowing the stick is there. Its one of the dirty tricks in hockey. Its again a dangerous play due to the amount of times players spill hard into the boards when this happens.

You can't be a minus player playing only 7 mins or less while the rest of the D are playing 28+ mins. I think Stecher in the lineup would be a positive along with Arvid taking the dayoff and brining in Jeff Skinner.
