Montreal. If it was 1 game, I'd choose Boston over Montreal hands down for the obvious reasons (Price, Bell Centre, etc.). But over 4-7 games, I feel like Boston is more likely to wear us down.

Plus, this makes for a great narrative, with each team having won last in back-to-back years. It's more interesting to me than "Oh, snap! Rematch."

Idk, have a feeling Bruins might stomp the Habs tomorrow.

its certainly possible. but Montreal handled bawstun pretty well in their last game.

i do think Vanek coming to life here has helped a ton. he's been meh this series.

he's annoying ti play against. doesnt do crap but tip stuff in front...guys got amazing hand eye coordination.

That's why I think Boston is gonna crush them. They're gonna be pissssssed. But who knows with Bruins-Canadiens.

Are we just assuming Hank will be fine in Montreal? Tonight was one of the greatest games I've ever seen him play, but that arena is hell...

Disregarding the hex of the Bell Centre, I'd definitely want the Habs, but I just can't disregard that. Obviously last year against Boston wasn't great; that was a weird year, we generally play the Bruins well. Then again...I don't know. I don't care, they're two good teams who won't be easy to beat, either way.

when was the last time henrik even played in montreal?

im thinking thats overblown..its not a henrik thing, its a habs thing..they are amazing in that building.

Yeah but Talbot totally owned them this year. I don't know, Henrik is DIALED IN right now, so maybe it is a bit overblown.

I know they've won two series so far but unless Nash starts scoring, even a little, I can't see the Rangers giving either team much of a run for their money.

This is what I said before the playoffs started, but now we're going to the Conference Finals, and he still hasn't ****in scored.

My biggest fear is one or more of the big three (McD, G, Staal) will get injured against the Bruins. Im honestly surprised more canadiens haven't been hurt.

law of averages say its GOT to happen. no player can take that many shots on goal and be 0 fer...its going to happen eventually.

It hasn't been too physical a series. The Big, Bad Bruins are a bit of a myth. Mostly they act tough after the whistle blows.

I'd prefer Montreal. Boston is a bigger, tougher team with more depth. Rask can have incredible streaks.

Would you rather have Chara or Subban blasting shots from the point on Hank?

tough call, with the way Subban puts that mustard on those biscuits.

gun to my head, give me Montreal, time to lay Lars the fake tough guy on his ass.

One way or another, if we end up going to the SCF, we're going to have to beat one of these teams.

Boston was the best team in the NHL this year. The depth they have is amazing, a quality goaltender (who's right below Hank), a guy by the name of Lucic (who's always a pain in the neck), and they're the most physical team in the NHL. I think the rivalry between Boston and Montreal is a huge factor as to why it's gone to 7 games.

I'd rather play Montreal. I really think the key with Montreal is to NOT give them any power plays. They're lethal on the PP.

yes, Subban's point shot is deadly... guy has amazingly large amounts of talent.

I'll take MTL over Boston... MTL has been able to contain them, and quite frankly I think we are as good as MTL is (that last game of the regular season says so).

If we do get them, I'd like to see Diaz in the lineup for a game or two. the "ex-montreal" factor could easily steal a game for us. Just a thought

when they get going on their forecheck, it's intimidating as hell...its definitely no myth.

they can be beaten though, they arent fast...speed kills them. kreider, hagelin, msl and mza will be big for us because they are all fast.

you just cant try to out bawstun the brooins....you gotta play an attacking speed game against their physical puck control game, and you absolutely have to respect their points. when they start involving their d, they are lethal. way too many bombs from the point.

Montreal.... Don't feel like dealing with Chara & Lucic's physical play as well as Marchand's weasely antics... Rask is better than Price.... Winning in Montreal will be difficult but what can you expect when you're playing in the Conference finals...

surprised most of you are choosing montreal

bell center scares me, that crowd and rangers tough time there

boston will become beat down imo
chara is aging and the way they play especially after another hard series and going to game 6 of the finals last year

both will be tough, but imo rangers match up better vs bruins as crazy as it sounds

Montreal.

This Rangers team took the Habs to OT in their arena in the regular season finale in a game with absolutely nothing to play for. I think this Rangers team is fully capable of dealing some blows in the Bell Centre regardless of what the historical stats may show.

Yeah but Talbot was in goal. He was in goal for the other game in Montreal as well.

My vote is Montreal.

Too many guys on Boston have experience with deep playoff runs.

If the Habs reach the ECF, I believe the media in that city will eat them alive. Especially if the Rangers take game 1. And I think the rangers have learned the importance of striking first lately.
