What?
Who would you rather have between the following 3 players on your team going forward:

Matty Beniers, Connor Bedard, or Lane Hutson?

I know center is such a coveted position, but curious to see who y'all would pick?

I think still Bedard. We'll get a better idea when he has a better team around him, if they get a Misa or a Frondell I'd imagine it would make sense to move him to RW at some point though.

That being said, would I trade Hutson for Bedard as a Habs fan? I don't really have a solid answer for that.

I'm a Habs fan who voted Bedard.

I obviolusly love Huston - and Bedard has certainly disappointed somewhat so far, especially in year 2 - but I still think there's a great chance he turns into a top 5 player, and possibly best overall player in league. Tremendous potential.

A better question is Celebrini Bedard or Michkov?. I’d pick Celebrini going forward as of now.
I agree this is closer.

I'd still go Bedard #1 - followed by Celebrini, and Michkov 3rd. But all 3 are great, and I could see any of the 3 end up as the better player.

You’d have to add multiple 1sts to even get Chicago to even look at that offer and even then Chicago most likely says no.

This is actually a tough poll, Hutson looks like a truly special player anytime I see him play. I'd still lean Bedard if I HAD to, but I can't make a pick right now.

I am just so happy as a habs fan (who picked bedard) that there is actually a sizable amount of people who would take Hutaon over Bedard.

It literally could not have been foreseen even by his biggest supporters and I was one of them - that this could even be the case 1 year ago

Idk why beniers is in this poll but anyways. This could potentially end up being like a comparison between a Patrick Kane level player vs an Erik Karlsson. I think you have to go Bedard for the time being but I wouldn't really be that shocked if either ended up better. Celebrini clears both as of now.

Bedard. Not many players have two 60 point seasons before the age of 20, especially playing on a ghastly roster like the Blackhawks have right now. We have barely seen a glimpse of what Connor Bedard is going to be yet.

Is it any more rare than what Hutson is doing as a rookie defenseman?

Bedard's 19 year old season is pretty pedestrian compared to other top picks since the lockout
