It's hilarious looking at the graph of the Blues goalies Saved above expected and Binner was still saving more than he was expected to. I feel that says a lot more about the Blues defensive play than Binner's goaltending. Army really needs to overhaul the Defense over the offseason.

Honestly, that was the reason I thought the Binnington trade rumors made no sense. All this season has proven is that Binnington doesn't play well in a God-awful defensive system. Shocker, I know.

But there will be some massive intellect that will still claim that he is no better than Allen after eating a plate full of dry spaghetti and Elmer's glue.

Binnington is at -5.1 goals saved above expected before tonight’s game and it’s gotten worse after that first goal tonight. An average goaltender would’ve let in 5 fewer goals than he has. Let’s not spread nonsense that it’s all the Blues defense. It isn’t good, but Binner has been terrible this year.

If you can't get a shot off in the 1st 10 minutes and the other team gets two goals on you, especially a weak team, something is wrong with team motivation.
