Objectively speaking, taking only facts into consideration, Mets fans have to be the biggest mongrels alive.

Offended on behalf of my lady!

(I will say: having been to ~12 MLB parks and ~10 NHL arenas, I think Mets fans are on average the most knowledgeable of their chosen sport. You can thank the Yankees for that--all the meatheaded fairweathers in their area gravitate to the Bronx team, whereas those who stick through all the misery in Queens are typically just baseball nerds who truly love the game. Most uninformed, on the whole? Bandwagon Penguins fans).

Thats a catch. Lost it on the transfer.

How does the runner get to stay at 1st? Should be a DP?
Umpire called him safe, which was to say that had it been ruled a catch, he would've made it back to 1st, which is correct.

It is kind of funny seeing a bunch of Mets swinging at first pitches and then watching Schwarber work a long at bat right after. Phillies would benefit from running Manea's pitch count and trying to get to the Mets' shitty bullpen ASAP.

WTF Wainright thinks Schwarber is going to lay down a bunt later in the game?

Get outta here.

Nolas gotta stop hanging changeups and get them to chase more. They are very aggressive right now..good time to take advantage with low junk.

It's nice that Bohm got on base. Would've been nicer if he stayed on base
