Pitiful offense. I’m not sure how it can be fixed as it’s good on paper and was good during the season. They just aren’t good in individual at-bats against top pitchers

As much as people like to talk about home field advantage at CBP, when shit isn't going well everyone's butthole gets so tight. Can just feel the negative energy.

Whether it's his fault or not, if the Phillies lose this series, Thomson is getting fired. The kid gloves are coming off the good vibes clubhouse. In fact, Dombrowski should go in there and threaten to bring back Girardi.

Can Sosa play the outfield? Put Bohm in and Sosa to the outfield. Need to get Casty the f**kn out of this game, maybe even the series. Such an easy out.

it’s pretty simple, the Mets are the better team. Better pitching, hitting, base running and defense.

Checks all the way down

I’m far from a Thompson fan but what is there to do when your top players are coming up small in the playoffs again?
It's about coaching to instill some discipline at the plate. It's a joke that this lineup goes this cold in the postseason like this. They swing at f***ing everything and it's long past the coaches to have fixed it.

Also, his bullpen management is atrocious

That’s what they employ. How many free swinging guys aren’t in their lineup? Like Schwarber & Stott? The latter which has sucked at the plate this year regardless.
