I wouldn't mind an actual expert in hitting and getting on base at the top of the order...but it feels like forever...they want guys that hit the long ball..

You know...chicks dig the long ball

Are there any statistic databases where you can really narrow the parameters down? Like find out what someone bats when it is a close game (down 2 to up by 2)? The same stat but in the 6th inning or later? Then add with RISP… then add with 2 outs

After the Phils lose this series I have to root for a Dodgers/Yankees WS this year. After this year I never want to see the dodgers win again. But Shohei needs to get one

Yankees because of Judge obviously. He rules

Isnt that exactly what turner was supposed to be? High batting average...gets on base, steals bags...

He was supposed to be the consistent one, but hes been as streaky as any of them.

Win today, they at least have a chance.
Lose today and they’re probably getting swept.

No pressure
we will see how this team responds. I'm not optimistic. We have one offensive superstar and that's harper the rest are just below average to average players.

Today might as well be an elimination game.

This team has taken on the "zero urgency" personality of Thomson and its been that way for months.

Hopefully they still have some magic left, but it doesn't feel like they do.

If they must lose let it be in a barn burner. I can’t take another 2 hits through 7 innings type of game. Let’s see how this team handles adversity. I think there’s a good chance that whoever wins this game wins the series.

Bryce Harper's one of the most overrated players in sports. Tired of hearing how he's the heart & soul. He's a pampered self-centered spoiled brat.
it's time Harper steps up and earns is $300/million

Post season Bryce !! put the screws to a few pitched balls

Wow. Bohm’s postseason career is pretty lackluster but he’s still a good potential bat. If this doesn’t work out Thompson will obviously be questioned.
