Happy opening day, lads

Predictions? The o/u for the phils I think is 89.5 last I heard. A full year of Harper, good Turner, Rojas' glove (and Pache), and Chris Sanchez should push them over that. I think they have a chance at 95 this year.

Let's get back to the WS and win it this time.

They are perpetually underrated before each season. Last 2 seasons they were predicted to miss the Playoffs.

I have them at around 95 wins as well, assuming relatively healthy.

They won 90 last year with:

Harper missing the first month then starting slow due to TJ.
Turner awful until practically August.
Schwarber playing a ton of LF.
Rojas not called up until late summer.

Opening day ruined.

Oh f***.

Hopefully they find a way to pug that 70 inning hole in the bullpen or the lads will be gassed by October! Need Middleton to be active at the deadline for relievers. Hopefully that's the plan

I was happy to see Rojas in center. Lots of chatter of him being sent down since he has options, let alone not getting the starting job. His glove out there is a huge asset. This is the way.

Also the Phils are something like 150-100 with Schwarber leading off compared to around .500 when he's not. Of course, in those games he probably wasn't leading off because of injuries to other players etc, but still pretty crazy

Philadelphia
Laughton and Atkinson sitting 10th row behind the braves dugout.

Beezer, Tippett and TK like 5 rows behind them.

Love to see teams in this city showing love for the other teams.
