So in the past 6 weeks in which the Phillies are 20-15 ("only" a 93 win pace) they have gained 2 games on the Braves. A win would have great today but it wasnt a disastrous weekend since they took 1 game.

Saw on mlbtraderumors the Nats are looking to be sellers and Lane Thomas one of the names mentioned. He does still have one more year of arbitration control and I don't really view him as a full-time player.

But as a platoon guy to face lefties (and have on the bench to bring in against a lefty reliever)

hitting .338 with a .971 OPS against lefty pitchers this year with a career .308 BA and .893 OPS against them.
