I've repeatedly made the case for years he deserves to be in the hall of fame. He does not deserve to be honored by the Phillies and trotted out to a fandom (or remnants/descendants) of the fandom that he was happy to get away from.

I wouldn't waste my time or energy booing him, but have no enthusiasm or interest in the ceremony/honor though.
