Girardi has been a huge disappointment. This team just doesnt know how to win games and hes done nothing to help.

Lineup doesnt work together. Starting pitching depth isnt there. Bullpen is a crap shoot.

Team has holes...but they shouldnt be this bad.

He still cant manage the bullpen. Coming back in the 8th with Coonrod after he barely got through the 7th for example. What happens? Coonrod allows a game-tying HR.

Do the warmup catchers provide any feedback while prepping the bullpen? I’d assume they’d have some foresight on how these guys will perform before they’re put in a game

Phillies need to get their act together. They aren’t a great team but they should be better than this. Looking at the player the farm system churned out over the last 10 years is depressing

The Phillies are mired as a .500 team, with a +/- max of 5

It’s crazy how bad our farm system has been. Like how many “good” players have they developed since the WS era? 3 or 4? I do think Bohm will become something though

Since 2008 the Phillies draft has produced exactly *3* players who have accumulated more than 5 WAR in the Major Leagues.
Aaron Nola(2014) 23.1 WAR
Ken Giles(2011) 7 WAR
Rhys Hoskins(2014) 6.9

JP Crawford(2013) is at 4.5 (so may get there this year if he gets playing time I guess)

That's how pathetic and worthless the draft has been. Obviously you also have international signings beyond that, but there has been little from that front as well.

Talking about basically a full decade without the MLB draft producing more than 3 actually decent starting players(and 1 is a bullpen piece)
