"hes young and scored 30 once"

Listen, I think chuck is great young player and you would be wise to hold on to him. However, to say that you would tell the flyers no if this deal is on the table is completely asinine as others in this thread have mentioned (specifically Juicy Pop's points)

Something G has never done....

Not sure if serious.

Habs get the better player, dump a bad contract and end up a better team afterwards. They do this in a heartbeat

No they dont. G is the better player but no way they mess with that contract. They have Price and Patches to resign. Getting G means one of those 2 might not be back. Add Radulov to resign as well....

They will stick with Galchenyuk and hope he gets to G;s level. Which I dont think he is that far from.....

care to explain to us how thats "not so much the case anymore"

i'll wait.

Not only the eye test but stats also, let alone we're paying $2.8m a yr for a guy that is just a tier below while now putting up roughly the same amount of points compared to 8.275m your paying.
Within1- 2 seasons i see Chucky being equal while being paid a lot less.

Sure, if being an elite-center is all just about the points.
