It is the only thing that isn't improving every night. His defensive game is so much better than it used to be and it keeps getting better. He hustles morr than he used to. His puck handling is top notch. It's just a major problem when you don't start the play with the puck 70 percent of the time (even less tonight)

He was better on the dot last year and even in pre-season, I believe. Could be that whoever is coaching the centres (Muller?) is fiddling with his face-off technique.
