To the poster asking earlier about the gold numbers - it's the Flyers' 50th anniversary, and 50 is the "golden anniversary"

They look really ugly and distracting!

But yeah, we need to trade for a top 4 D ASAP. We are way too slow down there.

Why? It's been the defense that's scored when out with his line, but other than that, why? Serious question. Just want to know what you see that perhaps I'm not.

He was pivotal on both goals. Hate the player as much as you want, I can't wait till he's gone myself, but give credit where it's due.

Better than last night. Well, anything would have been better than last night.

Some good chances, but defensive zone coverage still a problem. Even Pleks has decided to dig in for the puck.

Why? Their goalie couldn't see over him when Marky shot the puck? Can't even recall him when Pateryn scored, so I have nothing. He has no points. So what was pivotal? Seriously? I'm honestly just asking what you saw?

Markov looks horribly slow, as soon as he's a bit out of position, he's screwed. Petry seems just off. Maybe separate them for the rest of the game, maybe even sit Markov next game.

Seriously... if he wasn't battling with the defenseman in front, the shot would've been easily blocked. He won the puck off the boards and put it out front where it was poked out to Pateryn on the second goal. Scroll back, watch again.

Yep... He basically originated the play with a takeaway.

I suppose I'll have to watch Pateryn's goal again. Thank you. It was a genuine question.
