DD has been the best of the bunch tonight.

Says a lot about this leadership core and adding Mountain man wasnt the only thing that needed to happen to solve it

Why? It's been the defense that's scored when out with his line, but other than that, why? Serious question. Just want to know what you see that perhaps I'm not.

I'm sure Patches will be his usual near or above 30 goal self but that's not the issue with his game. Plekanec is clearly not a top 6 forward in this league anymore. Meanwhile Markov's decline continues and Petry looks shaky which concerns me because all I heard was that his struggled at times last year were related to that hernia he dealt with. Emelin hasnt changed much cause he was and still is inconsistent. Right now our D looks like the problem. They're even making it difficult on Price tonight!

Its not necessarily a compliment. More compete than the other three supposed leaders on this team. Best of a bad bunch

I don't know how Markov is going to make it through this year. I don't think Petry can carry him.

Markov at this point is gonchar when he played for us. He will still be reliable and chip in offensively on a lot of nights but he is brutally slow and gets tired quite quickly. I don't it is a stretch saying this. I still like him and I think he can be effective but I think he needs to change the way he plays honestly.

Habs had some disastrous moments in the defensive zone, but then so did Philly. It seemed like an even period, so fair that it's 2-2.
