@Chinatown88

Today's my league's trade deadline.

Here's my squad as is:

QB: Herbert
RB: McCaffrey
RB: Jacobs
WR: Lamb
WR: Smith
TE: Moreau (New player every week)
WR/RB/TE: Pierce
K: Carlson
DEF: Dallas
B: Gesicki
B: Mostert
B: D. Jones
B: Patterson
B: C. Samuel

I was offered these two trades from the same team:

To Me: Kyle Pitts
To Him: Cordarelle Patterson

To Me: David Njoku, DK Metcalf, Kadarius Toney
To Him: Christian McCaffrey

Deciding what to counter with.

Edit: I turned down Pitts for Patterson and offered Patterson for Metcalf. He has two better WR’s.

To be fair, he's a reasonable option of the guys left on the street. No one good is left at this point in the season.

The option I would prefer would be elevating Marvin Wilson from the PS. But I'm also doing that without a single shred of knowledge of how he's looked in practice, so perhaps what I should say is that I would have hoped they saw him as worth of doing it.
They did elevate Wilson, he sucked, or at least was hard to notice.
Joseph and Suh both started last year, both showed decline.
However, if you use them for 25-30 snaps and cut back on Cox's snaps, you might have a nice rotation.

DTs can bounce back with less usage b/c a lot of their game is strength and power which is more stamina related.
DEs once they lose that burst, well, rest ain't gonna bring it back.

Just need a WR2 for that ship run. If you can upsell Patterson I would. That split is getting kind of ridiculous in Atlanta.

I know this is dumb but is Keenan Allen available for cheap? I can't imagine it would take much if the owner is still contending.

My brother who is in first place.

I offered him Patterson and Curtis Samuel.

He accepted immediately. Now to find out if he accepted it because i'm me or because he liked the trade.

DeVonta or Keenan today?

DeVonta until Keenan actually plays a whole game, right?
You hurting for a playoff spot or are you solidly in? The fact that DeVonta doesn't get the target volume irks the shit out of me week to week for fantasy. If you can wait then yeah it's probably the smart play. If you need to YOLO it for the playoff push then Allen.

On a 0-2-1 slide that's put me a game up on a playoff spot and playing the #2 team in the league.

I'm comfortable playing either. I tend to always go the conservative route. I just wanted to check if you thought I was being dumb.

It's not dumb. Now I'm a little perturbed cause it actually is kind of important.

I also take solace in the fact that no matter what I decide the other will undoubtedly pop off.

I'm also still very pissed about the -14 receiving yards on the fumble/lateral that resulted in a tie so maybe I bench Smith to send a message to the rest of the squad

Argh my gut tells me Allen because I feel like the Eagles might just run it all day today.

Feeling another loss today, then we all can hit the panic button. Try not to suck again team.

The Saints should win today too, the Rams couldnt score with Kupp playing.
