OT: Philadelphia Eagles (NFL): When You're Up, It's Never As Good As It Seems, And When You're Down, You Never Think You'll Be Up Again

Ew wtf?? The only thing you clued me in on was the trainer thing. The hate went beyond sports well before that, when he started his peddling bs

Brady certainly puts in the work to be able to play at his age, but more than anything else he's doing it because of freakish genetics.

But a lot of guys cannot accept that they're just lucky in some major regard, they want to believe they are the only architect of their own success. So they start coming up with a lot of bullshit to allow them to take credit, in Brady's case it's the snake oil scam.

For the Flyers, it's the anti-skill BSB revisionist history where the Olds pretend they weren't blessed with immense talent at birth and they just brute-force worked and grinded their way to success, worked harder than anyone else and especially these entitled modern skilled kids. Never mind they were once the entitled skilled kids. God forbid any part of their success is down to chance. And from there it pollutes the entire thing from the top down. They've deluded themselves into believing they won on nothing but hard work so all they care about is the illusion of effort while writing off natural talent as a lazy route.

Wrong.

I mean no one knows how Lane Johnson will fair and Jalen Hurts' shoulder is still a major concern. They're the two most important people on the team and they're banged up.

You don't think the 49ers will be banged up when they roll into Philly in 2 weeks? They've got a war on their hands against Dallas.

And? The Eagles have a game to play also. It sounds like you're looking passed the Giants right now a bit.

I also have my doubts that the Cowboys or the 49ers will have their two most important players banged up in the capacity that the Eagles do if the Eagles are to make it through the Giants.

The original point was that the Eagles aren't fit and healthy and that was rebuffed.
