I’m almost in awe. They were paper tigers at 10-1 but they were still 10-1. To go 1-6 after while getting blown out in many of those games, firing a coordinator, dealing with no depleted roster, …it’s mind blowing. It’s like a switch was just shut off on both offense and defense…the whole team quit or the coaches forgot how to coach…something happened
They were not even paper tigers, they were just not a 10-1 elite. The offense was scoring in most games, until SF.

This guy was right all along

Going to take a big hit to move off those 2. $52 mill or so in dead money if they are not back. Both have roster bonuses for 2024 that are fully guaranteed. Plus Kelce, Cox, Graham combine for another $52 mill in dead cap as well. Going to be a tough next 2 seasons navigating contracts to overcome the dead cap.

The team absolutely quit. But it's on the coaches to make sure the team doesn't quit.

And even though they were 10-1 they still played badly most of the year. Week after week after week we kept hearing how they weren't happy with their execution and how they just needed to figure it out and play their game. Instead of finding anything that worked and sticking with it (THE f***ING RUNNING GAME), they just kept throwing useless shit at the wall and the team checked out.

This season is what it looks like when coaches lose the locker room. You have to clean house.

Yeah they clearly weren’t a 10-1 team but I think the point differential is more telling. They had to have gone from an at least decent or good team to one of the worst in the league those last 7 games

And it's not like this was a once in a while play. There is like one on EVERY series.
You have Smith and Brown and they only run screens or 20 yard routes.

It's really criminal how poor the plays were that they called game after game. Between them and Goedert you should be able to get someone open on every play. You should be able to run route trees that force the defense to cover one guy or the other, and you should never have any of those 3 within 10 yards of another receiver during any throw. One of them should be an easy 5 yard check down on every play

And yet...

Best possible outcome. Lane will be gone probably, Kelce too. Gonna have to be blown up. Window is closed tighter than a bull's ass

The only thing that cracks the window is any news on a Hurts knee surgery plus massive coaching turnover. It must be both

Lane's not going anywhere. Kelce may though for sure.
