We're gonna find out Hurts is really injured after the season is over.

All we can do is hope that he'll come back feeling much better.

Statistically, aside from the TOs, he hasn't been that bad.

The SCARY part is if we are running this offense because he CANT do anything else.

They really might as well figure out how to replace him this offseason too. Bradbury's collapse is just going to repeat for Slay next year. The amount of turnover this defense needs next year is stunning.

Edit: oops, thought i was replying to post about Slay

What was last year then? He ran that fine. I think it is more coaching.
Some of it is the lack of his run ability (speed), and I think A BUNCH of it is the NFL has adapted and knows how to defend it.

It's INCREDIBLY difficult to be like 97% shotgun/and also we do NO motion. There's some videos out there about how shotgun KILLS run angles for RB.

I think Hurts will be better next year. He is clearly playing injured all year and not a good running threat. Question I have is why wasn’t he sat for a few games? Surgery upcoming?

I don’t say this lightly, but most of the Back 7 quit this year.

I think he still might. One of these guys that will use him in a narrow role will pick him up.
I don't know, man. I don't see how he can't put these snaps on tape. He's just given up on tackling at this point.
