He ain't getting hired. Anyone who watched this team's offense knows that he was shit at calling plays. We could only WISH he'd get hired, as it would mean that we know for sure we're getting a new OC
yea but what decent coach would even touch that job with that owner. except if they want to retire with pay the last 4 years of a 5 year contract.

I get what you're saying, but the fact is there are 32 of these jobs to go around...someone way more competent will take it because they're going to believe that it won't happen to them.

Fools lol
Yeah, for sure, I don't disagree with that. But these are highly competitive individuals, they're always going to think that it won't happen to THEM, and that THEY have the stuff it takes to succeed.

Who knows...maybe Brian Johnson goes in and absolutely WOWS with his plan to turn it around in Carolina, and that's enough for them to hire him (or enough for an incoming GM to believe that he's the guy)...but I'm not counting on it.

He will have, in his corner, the fact that he was Jalen's QB coach last year when he did what he did, and he can always argue that this year was more on Sirianni and the offense that he drew up as opposed to him not being up to snuff for the job.

Save us Carolina you're our only hope
For sure lol.

Now, joking aside, if there is not a wholesale coaching staff change (everyone, including Sirianni) this offseason, then at the very least the OC and DC need to go. It's obvious now that passing up Dennard Wilson for Sean Desai was an abject TERRIBLE decision (as was the decision to fire him since he was apparently "fine" with sticking around...)

I'm leaning more in the camp of firing everyone after this season is over, but I understand why Sirianni might survive one more year.

While it obviously won't happen for the obvious reasons, I'd be down to having Howie and Bill in the same building (preferably with a 50:50 power structure concerning roster building) just for the entertainment value of how much a trainwreck this would be.

If the Eagles fire Sirianni, Belichick will be at the top of Lurie’s list.

He’ll cast Howie aside for that man due to his love of New England and his thoughts of what he could have had if he bought them instead.
