It was before my time, but the paramedic/fire/hospital show Emergency from 70s was airing in syndication and it's not like they had to have Earthquakes, terrorist attacks, massive floods, etc... It was just "Ok, here's a car accident... Here's a fire... Here's a kid who fell into a sink hole in a yard"
