Every team from 8 to 19 has a major need there. It's not off the table for almost anyone in the 20s. Detroit and Washington both have major needs.

It sure looks to me like OL and CB are my most likely top of the board positions in the low 30s. I wouldn't argue with a Becton replacement.
Its so deep, there is bound to be a worthwhile edge or DT available. Kinda want a a "need" here. Like it would be fantastic to get a great interior rusher to play with Carter.

Draft is cray cray. There are a bunch of OTs that will go, Jeanty/Warren will each take a spot. Probably 4-6 WR in the mix.

No matter what happens in the Super Bowl, we can all thank the Eagles for getting all of us fans through to the beginning of Baseball spring training without having to watch the Flyers or Sixers games this year.

Guys, this is it. Timestamp will autoplay

Finally got around to the game today. I’m not surprised you picked a Backside Dig to illustrate what he can’t find. That’s sort of the bellwether route for high end NFL processing.

I’m going to make a weird comp, but stick with me here. He reminds me of JT Miller. If he’s asked to carry you, you’re irrevocably f***ed. But when he stays on schedule and the puck is going in, he’s a positive asset. They both sort of amplify whatever you already have going on rather than being the root cause of success.

Mostly I’m thinking about the asinine conversations coming out of ‘22 about turning him into a West Coast style QB. Instead of trying to force him into holes in which he doesn’t fit, just run what he’s comfortable doing and the offense will be passable. I’m always going to worry about that in playoff situations against bespoke game plans, but they’ve tried to build the roster in such a way to minimize that specific risk. There’s a path there because Fangio is working miracles.

I am terrified about what Frank Reich is going to do to this offense if that is indeed where they go.

*Edit* The discussion ~35 Minutes in is great stuff. Good outcomes does not mean sound process.

*Second Edit* The play immediately after that is so much worse. I don’t know if they’re just hammering home to avoid throwing picks at all costs or what the hell is happening because he’s on the right read and it’s there. He doesn’t even look like he thought about throwing that Deep Out to DeVonta.

I wonder if that was the hidden meaning to his "they took the straight jacket off of me today". I don't think the "straight jacket" is the cause of his low performance in the past, I think he just got away with a few of his normal goofs.

The "this is it" part of my post is about the ball having to come out.

Throw the ball up to The Guy in 1v1 against the little guy who was been getting clowned by him ALL SEASON. It's not even the backside dig. Granted, I couldn't tell you that is a high level read, but I will tell you he puts his eyes down in a CLEAN POCKET before he even gives that route a chance, which is another subset of the "get the ball out" problem.

I totally agree with you in saying Hurts just needs to be functional, not perfect, in order for this team to win Sunday. But in a game where we score 55 points missing check downs for 12+, not even entertaining the thought of a deep out, and bailing clean pockets before all our guys have ran their routes? KC is going to take advantage of that. It doesn't bode well, especially in the setting of exotic blitzes that Jalen always seems to struggle against. Too many missed opportunities; read also, cracks in the armor.

Now, they do have 2 weeks to plan for this. Come out with a plan, and be decisive

So, the Pro Bowl is obviously extremely pointless, but I am actually watching it. But purely to watch an ultra-competitive Peyton on the sideline. He tries playing it off with his dry humor, but dude is LOCKED IN, lol.

Probably the last Pro Bowl I watched, many years ago, they had a play called that was voted on by the fans. Peyton was in at the time when they called a flea flicker. A mic'd up Peyton said something like "why are we calling that bullshit we want to win the game."
