He actually skipped out on coming in to sign that contract by telling the Tampa GM and coach that his kid was sick (when he was really interviewing with the Jags in Jacksonville)

All I'm saying is if players sign contracts, they are held to the them in some capacity. Give coaches the ability to negotiate options or something. There's got to be a better way somewhere, that's my point. I mean we can all agree lying to your team under contract and conducting a secret shadow interview is sleazeball behavior right?
