The fumble by Hurts wasn't smart by him, obviously. The Fumble by DeJean was unfortunate.

But this has been a great quarter for the offense and defense. Don't lose sight of that.

You can literally build an offense out of forcefeeding AJB. They look like they remember that now. That’s the #1 thing I needed to see from the rest of the season.

Minority opinion here, but Hurts may be alright, actually? He's no Mahomes or Josh Allen, but he's not Famous Jameis or Nathan Peterman, either.

I’ve historically been one of his biggest critics. He’s a perfectly cromulent starter. I objected to the contract, not him playing. No interest in giving a QB contract to the roughly 11th-18th best QB.

Not only did the offense hang 10 on 2 really good offensive drives, but the refs actually called the opponents for a hold on our D line.

Is this the best quarter of the season based on those 2 things? Maybe

Best first quarter by a country mile. Slightly worried lol.

This defense though....has to be demoralizing for an offense. They are smothering everything.

Fangio is a terrible matchup for this Pittsburgh offense. Their strengths just don’t tend to play. Russ has had success this year because they were getting into manageable 3rd Downs. That’s the key.
