So are we happy with Hurts today? Brown and Smith should be. Defense continues to be seriously legit. They are definitely one of a few teams that has a chance to win the Super Bowl

They had to tell Barkley and Brown to get off the field at 3 minutes. Competitors.
Gainwell deserves some kudos.

Shows you how important scheme is, when they ran tempo and quick hitters, Hurts looked great, but teams take away those deep shots now, have to see the 22, but I'll bet those slow developing plays downfield are rarely open - they did better on crossing routes.

And Moore finally realized you can call more than one slant per game for Brown, not everything has to be a sideline route - the slant is almost impossible to cover - and if you keep hitting it - you'll open up other routes.

And it used to be so much worse. The guy we have to thank for it even being as wide as it is was the one and only John Madden. You used to not even be able to see the WRs split out wide before the snap.
When did this happen? I started watching the NFL in the mid to late 80's, but I was also mid to late single digit years old so memory is a little dusty.

So Eagles have to be considered a top 3-4 team in the league now. Can't really ask for more than that. 3 easy teams, and maybe a bye week to get healthy
