The Rams didn't convert a single 3rd Down.

Don't be a hater. Game breaking RBs are NFL players too.
I mean if you can find a Barkley or McCaffrey in the first round, absolutely. But the vast majority are plug and play, and neither of the 2 listed elite backs are with the teams who drafted them, and neither team got anything remotely close in compensation when they left.

Can we at least make it board dependent? Or are you just going to tell me to dial up Jeanty’s 7 broken Tackles on a 25 yard run against Nevada and be the right guy in the bus meme?
Oh yeah it's context dependent. I'm just tired of seeing everyone in the draft community automatically put RBs in the second like they're not worth it.

Wonder if it's time to play Ringo over Rodgers, every game Rodgers gets in he has a bullseye on his back and I flash back to last season. Though he's not quite that bad.

DeJean comes in off the bye week with no preseason work, playing maybe the most complex spot on this defense (he's basically a NCB/SS hybrid) and has been almost flawless. When his man gets separation I'm shocked. And he tackles like a safety.

If Hunt takes advantage of more PT with Huff and Graham out, Howie will have hit the Trifecta.

Everytime I see Wilson, I gotta check who's that TE, then I realize who he is.

Yeah but like that Colorado guy plays like all the plays, so obviously Jeanty can't win the Heisman, and as such is a scrub

With Minshew out for the season, any thoughts on Jones signing there after clearing waivers? Gets him out of the East Coast spotlight, at least.

Every team that can get him for 1 year should take him. No team should give him multiple years unless he wants clear backup money.

Rodgers was arguably their best defensive player in the Dallas game. Please please please stop thinking you can evaluate DB play well from the broadcast angle. No one can.

The worst thing Jones can do is go to a bad team and repeat his NYG experience.

He should choose to be a backup on a good team for two years with a good coaching staff and learn how to play QB, and then make a comeback after he's learned, like Darnold on the Vikings.

He's got enough money for a lifetime, the last thing he needs is to spiral down further.
But it requires swallowing your pride, picking a good situation and devote yourself to becoming the player people thought you could be.

As far as Rodgers, he's not bad from what I've seen, except he's small and gets trucked, but as soon as he comes in, he gets targeted - so teams lack respect. To be fair, the rest of the secondary has become so good that even Slay is now the "weak spot." What a change! Reminds me when Lito and Brown came in.

BG was having a monster game yesterday too. Such a bummer. I know that he will be invaluable to his teammates on the sidelines though. Just a tremendous human being. I also don't think he'll retire. He still has enough game to go another year.
