IMO it looks like the strength of this draft is rather its depth instead of the top end so trading down is absolutely what you want to do but odds are that other teams feel the same way and that it will be much harder to achieve it this year.
Especially considering that #7 and #9 are prime spots for QBs so trading up to #10 is probably not the play if you want to jump up for a QB most likely. Need to get up to #6 or #8 most likely. If all of Young/Stroud/Levis and Richardson are gone at #10 (which IMO is not unlikely), nobody will jump up for a QB obviously.
What could happen is someone jumping up for the top tackle (maybe top WR as well but I have my doubts in this class that anyone would trade up to #10 for a WR) but the return probably will not be close to as good as it would be for a QB.
I also could absolutely see Bijan slip into atleast the range of our 2nd 1st rounder (wouldn't want to take him there either but still). A lot will depend on the combine IMO. With all the generational hype he has been getting, people have IMO overlooked that he really does not have the top end speed you would assume a "generational" RB would have. A bad 40 (if he even runs) could highlight this and see him drop a bit.
