Hmmmmmm. Ok, it wasn’t Fashanu. I’m guessing it wasn’t Latham or Alt. So it was Suamataia?!

I think my intuition might be right at the end of the day in regards to number 2 on this list. I just didn't know if they were gonna declare for this year until the two Bulldogs fans on here informed me it was definitely gonna happen.

I never want to see anyone hurt, but there are worse work situations in which to get hurt than working for an NFL team. He'll get excellent medical care, and I'm sure will be back on the field in good order.

I mean...I get feeling that way, but I just don't agree with it.

I think his comments were borne out of being pissed that he didn't take their initial offer, figuring he'd have a more robust market, and when he didn't Howie pivoted toward keeping Slay/Bradberry. No more longterm offer and he had to take a 1 year deal.

Low & behold, the worst situation for him happens. We all know that USUALLY non-contact knee injuries are some sort of ligament blowup/tear. So if he's done for the year he's looking at getting his $ this year, but having to take a big cut next to "prove it" again.

This is honestly a fascinating discussion topic to follow, I think.

What do RBs think they're going to accomplish with these talks? Did some of them see the SAG-AFTRA strike and go "hmmm maybe we can get one of those together for ourselves"?

I think RBs are basically stuck where they are, unless they embraced being a Wideback a la Deebo Samuel...but even then, many coaches won't want to utilize RBs that way to justify the money to pay such a hybrid.

I'm mad how many times I've read "most replaceable position in football" on social media over the last few days.

Not because it isn't true. It's very true. I've been saying that for years. People are finally catching up.

I'm mad because the Eagles used to have a competitive advantage by not pouring resources into the RB position like other teams. With other GMs smartening up, that advantage seems to be vanishing...

I think NFL teams have known for a while about this. There's just a few very specific teams that are dumb about it ::cough:: Cowboys ::cough::
