The last three pages of the Konecny thread on the prospect board is pretty funny.

I also read one page of the Bracco thread immediately after and laughed just as hard.

Marti is the d-man that I confuse with Martel all the time.

I have to commit this to memory, Martel = F. Marti = D

Any info on Morin? Haven't heard about him in a while.

He's doing well. Adjusting to the pro game. He's been really good defensively. Not getting too many opportunities offensively, but getting more comfortable with the puck each game.

Anybody wonder that if Hextall gets the cap space and if more of a "defensive" player goes down, does Morin get the call first before Ghost?

Hagg has been hurt almost all year. Morin has more games played and certainly in more game shape, should this happen soon.

If Schultz, Gudas or LSchenn went down I think he would just call up Drewskie to be the #7.

When Medvedev is healthy I would like to swap Manning with Drewskie. Manning is the better AHL player so it would improve the Phantoms, and Drewskie would be the veteran #7D who just practices and only plays in case of injury. So it would also improve the Flyers.

Seems like the perfect left wing for giroux

I'd say run him as 2C with Couts as 3C. Bring Laughts up to the 1st line as the left wing. He has speed, grit and finishing ability. Matthews centering Konecny and Gagner. Couts centering Schenn and Simmer. Bellemare centering Cousins and VDV/Umberger/Whoever. Get rid of Read, White, Vinny.

Bring up Ghost, Provorov. Sanheim joins Morin and Hagg in the AHL. Streit gets traded for late first or package of picks at the deadline to a contending team that needs offensive help on the blue line. Luke Schenn is moved for anything to get rid of his contract. Manning is gone after the season. Zaitsev thinks Philadelphia is perfect because I said so.

Laughton - Giroux - Voracek
Gagner - Matthews - Konecny
Schenn - Couturier - Simmonds
Cousins - Bellemare - Anybody

Provorov - Zaitsev
Medvedev - Gudas
Schultz - Ghost

One year later
Provorov - Zaitsev
Morin - Ghost
Sanheim - Gudas
