Jagr was a force after the Stars scored. He was pretty invisible since then.

41 years old guy don't have to shine all the time. He just need to score GWG. You know, experiences.. (yes.. deflection was intended probably :sarcasm:)

it was pretty sad watching jagr toy with kopitar, i was kind of hoping kopi would just give him a huge cross check in the back.

Talking about Kings Talk, some clown got on and started *****ing about how Bernier should have played tonight.

I mean, really? Quick got ****ed over by our defenseman's skate and a 3 on 1 and this guy is complaining?

Hey moron, let me teach you a little something about hockey. If you don't score any ****ing goals, you are not likely to win. As a matter of fact, you don't get any points. (This ain't 1975, where a 0-0 tie netted you one point.)

Cns needs to learn how to relax. Bernier will get his shot soon. :sarcasm:

How was he toying with Kopitar? Kopitar had long ass shifts and Jagr was stick handling towards the boards and when he tried to make a move Kopitar put him on his ass. I also don't know if you know that Jagr is a big guy just like Kopitar. Kopitar isn't chara, there is people his size.

Sutter said Kopi's line wasn't good and hasn't been good the last two or three games, I wonder if he mixes things up. Good team effort last night, but I wasn't very happy with Brown's play. He took several bad angles and he kept the puck glued to his stick far too much on the PP. Quick looked great, that one isn't on him.

Brown is killing 1st line. Williams and Kopi are smart players, but Brown is just a turnover machine.

I won't be watching this one when I get home. We've been spoiled lately so a loss was bound to happen.

Kings are now 2-2-1 when entering the third period tied. Both regulation losses to Dallas. The Kings also have 3 regulation losses at home and 2 of them are against Dallas.

As long as they stay out of the playoffs and the Kings make it, there won't be a problem. Always seems like there's a team that will give your team fits no matter how they play them. Luckily, the team happens to a fringe team. Last year it was probably Detroit, this year is Dallas.

So what you're saying is, no more games against Dallas or Chicago.

Colorado last year.

The Kings weren't even in any of the games they played against Colorado.

All four games were an as% kick$%6ing.

Yeah, I forgot about them. But yeah, they weren't in the playoffs either so nothing to worry about. I always hate going into the playoffs and eventually facing those teams. I keep telling myself that there's no such thing as bad luck against one team.

And then my team gets crushed, every time. Sports are weird.

Kopitar is killing the first line.

He's been good at face offs, and is always good positionaly, but that's about it.

His game has been plain vanilla. Every time he gets the puck he looks to pass it off. No creativity, no attempt to get himself into shooting position, no drive to the net.

Not true. They lost one of them by one goal... the one where the puck took a bad hop off the boards as Quick was going behind the net to play the puck. Hejduk had a wide open net.

I'm not mad about this loss. Kings worked pretty hard but the puck just wouldn't go in. Dallas stayed with us and was able to sneak a couple past Quick. What can you do?

Wow one loss where we outplayed the team and there are people sayign Brown and Kopitar are brutal...tough crowd

Anyone who is upset about this loss needs to get a grip.
It's frustrating to lose this way but it happens.
But I'm going to say we got something much more valuable than a win and two points, that would have been nice. Our starting goalie looked like the Vezina winner he was last year.

Quick is looking way better and is starting to come around, however I think any starting goalie should get a .900 save percentage minimum.
Still room to grow.
I am not upset by this loss. If we outplay teams like that everygame we will win 9/10 times.

His numbers are so low because of the start he had. And because we allow so few shots normally it takes many games in a row of playing lights out to get it back up. Neither goal last night could be considered his fault yet he still only got a .905 because we only allowed 21 shots.

I thought Kopitar was great, Quick stood on his head and looked fantastic, and everyone was playing hard/solid hockey. It took a random bounce off of Doughty's skate at the end of the game to beat us. If they play that way against all their opponents, more often than not, they are going to come away with a win. Sometimes things just don't go your way.
