The solution is so simple. You invite Miller to a party at X location, then do the same to Petey. Then when they get there, you lock em in a room and throw away the key until they can make nice. Standard sitcom problem solving. Is Alvin too dumb to see it?
This but give them each a 3g dose of Psilocybin and let them come out the other side best friends.

Shane Corson apparently banged Mogilnys wife so that obviously necesitated a trade . Not the same thing but a way back play back; and even further Gary Leeman slept with Al Iafrates wife , led to the Gilmour deal ( Ty Gary ) .
Janney and Shanahan
Brind’Amour and Lindros
Horton and Seguin

I’m not sure I agree with that, fully as I think any true contender would be happy to have him. Particularly those who see their window as closing, they likely don’t care about the last 2-3 years of the Miller contract any how.
The Rangers would gladly take him for Zibanejad +

He has to be in any deal for cap purposes, provided he’d waive his NMC.

Don’t underestimate Drury’s chaos making insanity right now

Purposely go over the cap to forfeit every game until the team learns to love each other and then trade away the vet that did the most work getting them all to finally come together to make them cap compliant. Other GMs are playing connect 4, Drury is playing 5 dimensional quantum backgammon.

There is some entertainment value in watching folks who barely follow the Canucks become tumescent over the flimsiest of rumoured about Canucks players. Yeesh.

Because the fever dreams of trolls aren’t real. They may dislike each other but the reporting about this rift from credible sources is super thinn.
Well...turns out it isn't flimsy! Tocchet all but confirmed it today and Friedman reported on it during Saturday night headlines:

Friedman summary:
- Canucks thought this was solved last year with the success they had, it clearly hasn't
- it's bled into the way they're playing on the ice
- it's started to take its toll on other people in the organization (player, coaches, hockey ops department)
- Canucks hope they can work through it, but if they don't they know "something will have to give"

The 100 point version of course. But he's been in a worrying decline for two seasons now.
89 points last year is a worrying decline to you? He averaged almost 1 minute less ice time and had 13 less points than the year before. He also has a career worst shooting percentage currently. He will be fine.

I do think it’s of interest that EP has no trade protection until July and JT Miller has a full NMC. Makes you think that EP could get substantially more in a deal not just because he is younger but because it’s actually an open market.

the canucks would aim for Alexis Lafreniere, Filip Chytil, andD'Andre Miller. The Canucks core are all under 30 sans Miller and I can see them building around them and wanting players that age

Canucks will lose any Miller trade. Full stop. NMC clause and the reasons around the trade add up to it maybe being a big loss. You need to be mentally prepared for zero assets coming back that are at this level, nevermind three. I would think they could get one, but not three in a million years.

first off it seems like there is a lot of smoke going on. Wether its true or not, we don't know. Heck even Dhaliwal the most accurate insider in the Canuck community is only sharing it as hes hearing it from others smoke blowers, nothing concrete like from an

anyways I feel THIS time, the Canucks will probably move on from MIller. Last time there were rumours of him and Horvat not getting a long, (although we actually lost horvat due to contract negotiations) I don't think we will hang onto him this time around if have to get rid of one of Pettersson or Miller.

honestly speaking the last 10 games, even before Miller took his absence, his ice time among canuck forwards was like 3 or 4th. Canucks will take the losing trade might have to move on. Part of the business of professional sports.
