A few fans still in denial I see..How so? Sounds like a guy that just doesn’t feel like commenting on it. People read way too much into these things.
These guys are profession athletes and still play on the ice together
I'm going to leak so much random bs that nobody will ever believe anything an insider says about Vancouver again.Abosultely, this is gonna go great.
Problem with all that is if all those things happen. Quinn leaves too. To keep Quinn, the Canucks need to get good value back that makes them competitive now. And its easier said than done to replace a #1 goalie, 2 top line Centres, and a top 6 winger. What a blessing this all is truly.
With one wild season the Canucks can now slice up every bad longterm contract they have given out and avoid the two they were about to give as well.
- Pettersson can be traded before his NMC kicks in, even with a handshake deal to not do so.
-Miller can be traded with a NMC intact, before he gets another year older.
-Boeser can be dealt before commiting a bad deal longterm for a player already slow and soft.
-Demko can be moved off of before he breaks down even more and were forced to offer him a longterm deal too.
We can start over even if we take a bath on the value of some of the above.
You forgot Benson. Canucks still lose this trade.Buffalo is probably asking for EP and Quinn Hughes now. Biggest trade of the century. Power Cozens Byram Krebs Ostlund Rosen 2025 and 2026 first.
What a blessing this all is truly.

Also the healthiest the team has been all season. If they can go on a little run this likely goes away.“You hated him for 364 days a year. And on the 365th day, you collected your Stanley Cup rings” is a quote about Canadian ice hockey coach Scotty Bowman. Former Montreal winger Steve Shutt
Winning solves
3 in a row. 40 playing better. 9 showing more committed efforts and Demko finally looking like his old self. The break is coming.
The line in the sand has been drawn. It's on the 2 highest paid forwards and Quinn Hughes now to decide
You can't base your entire strategy around one player at the detriment of a long term path to being a consistent contender. If Hughes isn't willing to be captain and struggle for a few more years, than he clearly isn't that interested in staying to begin with.Problem with all that is if all those things happen. Quinn leaves too. To keep Quinn, the Canucks need to get good value back that makes them competitive now. And its easier said than done to replace a #1 goalie, 2 top line Centres, and a top 6 winger.
I think that’s the biggest difference between this year and last year and Rutherford even mentioned it himself. Winning solves a lot of issues.“You hated him for 364 days a year. And on the 365th day, you collected your Stanley Cup rings” is a quote about Canadian ice hockey coach Scotty Bowman. Former Montreal winger Steve Shutt

Its too much to hope for. What a blessing this all is truly.

Can certainly argue value. Lets just say value here is Power- 3 1sts Byram and Cozens probably 1.5 firsts each. There is 6. Rosen is 7, Ostlund 8 then two firsts, 10. 4 1sts for EP 6 for Hughes. You forgot Benson. Canucks still lose this trade.

How many 1sts in value would you put Makar, McDavid, Mackinnon, Draisatl at?Can certainly argue value. Lets just say value here is Power- 3 1sts Byram and Cozens probably 1.5 firsts each. There is 6. Rosen is 7, Ostlund 8 then two firsts, 10. 4 1sts for EP 6 for Hughes.
