If they even had a middle of the pack powerplay they probably have at least a couple more wins. That to me is the biggest let down right now. Sitting at third last this season and finished last season third last there’s been zero improvement from last year that’s on the coaching staff to figure out

I assume Fitzgerald is either done for the season or close to it.
6-12 weeks for a broken wrist, and about 4 left in the season, probably be a positive sign if he's practicing before the end of the season. Would love to see him back for a game or two at the end of the season but it's not an injury to rush back from so probably best to just take the time and heal it properly. Unfortunate way to end the season for him but he was doing quite well down the stretch so should hopefully be able to carry that through to next season and go from there.

Petes seem to be in a cycle of games where goals get called back for hallucinations and missed calls leading to goals. It’d be funny if it didn’t happen so often...

Has there been any word on Addy that I missed?
Not that I know of. I was wondering the same thing. He's been out a while now and there seems to be no word. At least it sounds like Fitzgerald may be able to come back. Maybe even next week, based on what he was saying in the Examiner.

I’m all for sticking up for teammates but that play by Cameron dropping the gloves to try and fight when the hit wasn’t even dirty basically changed the game. Gives Brantford a powerplay and all of a sudden it’s 3-1 just not the right time and place for a penalty like that to be taken especially when the hit wasn’t even remotely close to being dirty

Fair point. There likely can't be a stat developed to gauge whether or not sticking up for a teammate and taking an fighting instigator penalty actually helps one's team within a game.

Maybe it builds team cohesiveness which is not measurable but my two cents is that players should be encouraged to not automatically jump a player when there's a big hit against a teammate. How about take a number and "legally" schmuck them later?

The Bulldogs player (Urichek?) had no intention of fighting Cameron and as mentioned they score on the ensuing PP.
