Peterborough Petes 2024-25 Season Thread, Part II

All of our big wins this year have been against teams at the top of the standings and all of our blow out losses have been against lower level teams with the exception of the London loss.
That’s often the way with Petes teams over the years, playing to the level of the team on the other side of the ice. Been doing that through multiple coaches too so can’t even directly blame them.

I dunno they are a fast team and apparently well coached because damn, they know how to play the Petes.
They've played us like a fiddle for the last 2 sesons. 7-0 W last night, 4-0 W January 3rd, 4-0 W October 19 2023, 6-2 W February 24th 2024.

During the 2022-2023 Championship season, the Petes won both matchups however (3-2 OT Win and a 6-2 Win on home ice)

Can anyone that’s watching the broadcast let me know if they showed a replay of what everyone behind the net thought was a goal?

Why doesn’t the memorial centre show replays anymore? So strange.
Its unreal. Really detracts from game night experience this year. Combine that with giving up 12 straight goals at home and what are we doing here (I stayed home Saturday and watched the Leafs even though I'm a season ticket holder and had already paid for my seats) hope they figure it out.

The new glass interferes with some of the sight lines where I sit so I like to see the replay after a goal or penalty. They spent all that money on the new digital scoreboard to not use it… makes no sense. It’s like going to a game in 2005 all over again.

I guess beating Barrie and Niagara went to their heads because the last 10 periods of hockey were painful.
