Yep!

I was looking at his numbers the other day and remembered him really progressing here but definitely didn't remember him scoring 43 goals.
That’s crazy… I remember him being a good goal scorer but wouldn’t have guessed 43.

Offseason Petes trivia…. No googling!

Who am I?

- Undrafted into the OHL
- Acquired by the Petes from another team
- Led the Petes in scoring in only season with the team (46 points)

He played on a line with Steve Lorentz and Jonathan Ang in his final season and played on the power play with Hunter Garlent and Eric Cornell. He was a really good player who the Petes got for nothing as a free agent.

There’s talk on the 67s board that 06 forward Caden Kelly will be traded this offseason. That’s the type of change of scenery type player I’d like to see Oke bring in for next season.

If I remember correctly he plays a gritty style that Rob Wilson would appreciate.

I would be all over that. I think he would be a good fit with top 6ish minutes

I think he would likely play in the bottom six. I think he would be used as a centre with the Petes. McCallum and Fitzgerald would likely be ahead of him on the depth chart.
Yeah I could see Kelly as a third line centre but he also provides some much needed RW depth where he could slot up and down the lineup

Taylor - McCallum - McIntyre
Melee - Fitzgerald - Pagé
Young - Kelly - Addy
Turcotte - Partridge - Cadorin

OR

Tayor - McCallum - McIntyre
Melee - Fitzgerald - Kelly
Pagé - Young - Addy
Turcotte - Partridge - Cadorin

I agree I like option #2.

Taylor - McCallum - McIntyre
Melee - Fitzgerald - Kelly
Young - Import - Addy
Turcotte - Patridge - Cadorin

In this scenario I would move on from Page and try to find him a spot on a contending team

I really like the idea of that lineup and hopefully Oke can actually acquire Kelly at a reasonable cost and hope you have a breakout players on your hands. Plus an Import F which is always an exciting add.

Page also deserves a shot somewhere else but I do also wonder if theres anymore offensive production you can squeeze out of him

Name that Petes player, no googling. Only played two seasons with the team. 33 points as a rookie dman.

61 points and 72 PIMs in 60 games in his second season with the team.

Played 5 games in the AHL. 848 in some other league or leagues...?

33 years old at present time, which is astonishing to be honest.

No way he’s only 33 lol the way he gets talked about on TSN and Sportsnet you’d think he was 43😂

The Petes start the season at home against the Kingston Frontenacs on September 26th! 2nd consecutive season the Petes have played Kingston in their home opener as well. GO PETES GO!! Already can't wait to get this season going!
