While I'm happy to see Holland succeeding, I expect to see a lot of trolling Leafs fans evaluating the trade on the picks, whereas in reality, the Ducks would be evaluating based on how well the guys we kept perform relative to Holland.

Not the worst comparison, in a way. Lupul was also a guy who was never going to go anywhere on this team, as talented as he was. He's a poster boy for "change of scenery" trades actually working.

I still really don't like this trade for us. I'm not sure if Perrault is our 2C. I would have kept Holland around a little longer. He wouldn't have cost much to re-sign as a RFA. Oh well
