Isles win didn´t really matter. It´s all about us and Detroit still. Actually Isles winning and coming closer to the clinch may help us, maybe. Maybe they are already clinched when we play them. I would be scared to play them if the season is on the line for both teams there in game 82.

This defense, man.....

Letang & EK showed some Good, some Bad and some Ugly.

Petts and POJ were just Bad & Ugly. The pressure of being the only real defensive player in the top 4 may be starting to wear down Petts.

Shea and St. Ivany need to see more ice time (and POJ much less), when trying to protect a lead. Yeah, "Sully and young players", but why does he play the one who sucks so much more than the ones who don't?

Ned didn't get much help, but nobody can still believe he's some kind of savior.

Still waiting to hear why #19 deserves to be on the top line, and what DOC did to get moved down 2 notches.

As usual, with even a semblance of a functioning PP, this game would have been so, so, so much less stressful. Up 5-3 with 8 mins left in the game, get a powerplay, and somehow the game goes to OT? It's maddening.

With that said, love seeing Sid play like this, and I guess you can't complain when the team goes 7-0-3 down the stretch.

That's exactly why I didn't buy a gold bag this year or last year, when I have previous years (got Malkin and Jake).

I bought a black bag and a few hundred in raffle tickets for a plat bag, just because I don't want the disappointment of a Jarry jersey which was in the mix last year and this year.

Yeah no way they're where they are now. They needed to hit rock bottom like they did. And at some point they found some pride and picked it back up.

I think if Jake stays they do OK for a little while post deadline but don't go on this kinda run. Maybe they don't have that post TDL losing streak but I doubt they get the point streak either. Does that balance out? Idk
